Bright Stars 4-1 Kirinya-Jinja

Nelson Senkatuka netted a brace as Bright Stars thrashed 10-man Kirinya-Jinja 4-1 at Champions Stadium in Matugga on Saturday.

Augustine Kacancu and Brian Kayanja scored the others while Fred Amaku got Kirinya’s consolation from a penalty spot on 63 minutes.

Kirinya did not only lose the match, they also lost Dan Sevume who was sent off late for a second bookable offense.

Senkatuka’s brace moved him to five goals, one behind leader Joel Madondo of Kirinya.

Victory thrust Bright Stars three places up to fourth on 11 points. Kirinya remained 11th on six points.
