Their own downfall started as early as the sixth minute when midfielder Daniel Shabene sent off for landing his studs onto the leg of Bright Stars’ Cleophus Fiat.
Senkatuka then put the visitors ahead four minutes later, taking full advantage of poor control by Express captain Isa Lumu to round goalkeeper Denis Otim.
He doubled the advantage on 36 minutes, pouncing on a loose ball after Express failed to clear their lines.
Express had a chance to pull one back after the break but their marksman, Kayiwa, struck the woodwork from a penalty spot sum up their poor day at office.
At Bombo Military Barracks Ground, hosts UPDF and Maroons could only play out a goalless draw.
