Senkatuka spurs Stars, Jinja derby ends in draw

Nelson Senkatuka continued his goal scoring form with a winner against Mbarara City at Champions Stadium, Mwererwe.

The centre forward scored Bright Star’s only goal that took their points tally to 30 and moved to 9^th place.

The loss leaves Sam Kawalya’s Ankole Lions 12^th on the 16-team log with 26 points after 25 games.

At Jinja, James Otim scored late in the game against his former bosses as Bul drew 1-1 with Kirinya Jinja SS at Kakindu stadium.

Faisal Muwawu had put the Students into a first half lead but Otim’s strike means the two sides have never lost to each other in the premier league with four successive stalemates.

Charles Ayiekoh’s side moved to 38 points in fourth place while Bul are now on 30 points in 10^th position.
