Simba F.C vs. SC Villa Jogoo – Bombo Military Stadium, 4:00 p.m (Live on Azam T.V)
Sports Club Villa Jogoo will temporarily shift attention from the CAF Confederation cup to the Azam Uganda Premier League.
S.C Villa Jogoo, 2-0 winners on aggregate over Sudanese club, Al Khartoum Al Watani F.C missed the opening two match days of the second round due to continental duty when they traveled to Sudan and returned to prepare for the home tie in Kampala.
On Tuesday, 1st March 2016, the Jogoos will visit Bombo army military stadium to play Simba Football Club.
“Our attention is now on the league” Villa’s head coach, Ibrahim Kirya told upl.co.ug.
The Jogoos will miss Godfrey Lwesibawa, scorer in the Kampala match because of a leg injury.
They will however look to the magic feet of skipper Jonathan Mugabi, left footers Isaac Muleme, Martin Kizza and Mike Sserumaga, as well as Robert Achema, Umaru Kasumba plus the goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato for inspiration.
They face an unpredictable Simba that nearly shocked Soana on Friday at the Kavumba Recreational stadium before settling for 3 all draw.
Alex Witaba, Godfrey Wakaza and Aggrey Kirya scored for Simba but Soana replied through David Ssali, Simon Okwi and a late Ibrahim Ayub Kizza equalizer in the second minute of added time.
SC Villa Jogoo is currently 8th with 24 points on the 16 team log whilst Simba lies second from bottom with just 13 points earned in 16 games.
