SC Villa Vs Soana – Nakivubo stadium @ 4.30pm
When the two teams met in the first round, Patrick Asiku and Allan Kayiwa scored for Soana as they ran out 2-1 winners at Kavumba.
Then, Robert Achema scored the visitors’ consolation and with the two sides set to meet again on Friday, a double will be the target for Charles Ayiekoh’s side.
The flamboyant tactician has already stated that he has no fear for any club ahead of the show down with the most decorated Ugandan club.
“We have no respect for the so called big clubs – Villa inclusive,” he stated. “We beat them in the first round; we want to prove it was not a fluke,” he added.
The visitors are currently without injury worries bar former SC Villa winger Muwadda Mawejje with Francis Olaki back in contention for a starting berth.
“Good enough, all my players who were suffering from injuries are now back (apart from winger Muwadda Mawejje),” clarified Ayiekoh.
Fourth on the log with 44 points, Soana still have an outside chance of winning the league but must pray that all the teams in front of them falter in their remaining games.
Meanwhile, SC Villa who have now gone three games without victory also have a slight chance of winning the league but must win all their seven remaining games.
The Jogoos are 10th on the standings with 37 points.
