Bul 1-0 Express

Bul kicked off their 2019/20 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) season on a high as they edged Express 1-0 at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Friday.

Deogratius Ojok was the hero for the hosts as they subjected the visitors to an opening day defeat.

The victory sees Bul join table leaders URA, Vipers and newcomers Kyetume on three points after one game each.

Bul went ahead on 14 minutes after some craftsmanship from Richard Wandyaka, and Ojok duly punished coach George Ssimwogerere’s men.

There were some moments where Express just hung on as coach Peter Onen’s Bul bossed proceedings.

Ssimwogerere made a double substitution bringing on Frank Kalanda and Joshua Musoke for Onen Axoel and Joshua Ssentabule midway but the hosts held on for all three points.
