The Management of Soltilo Bright Stars has barred fans from watching their home games until further notice starting with one against Express on Tuesday at Kavumba.
The club released a circular signed by the CEO Mathias Mugwanya Zzibu and copied to the UPL and Fufa Deputy CEO Decolas Kiiza, stoppings fans from watching all their home games until further notice.
“We received a circular from Fufa warning us about the violation of the FUFA – Covid 19 regulations on spectators into the stadium…..,” read part of the statement.
“As Soltilo Bright Stars management, we decided to stop all fans from watching our home games till we develop a mechanism that can help us better on guiding fans that watch our games.
“Therefore the reason for this circular is to inform you that we shall not allow any fans at Kavumba Recreation Ground for our game Soltilo Bright Stars vs Express FC on April 20, 2021.”
In that regard, Express FC has been allowed only a delegation of 40 people including players, technical staff and officials.
