George Ssenkaaba scored in added time to earn URA a point and deny BUL maximum marks in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played at Nakisunga Saza Ground, Mukono on Friday.
The new signing from Express struck in the first of two added minutes to cancel out Jeromy Kirya’s early goal.
BUL went ahead in the second minute, helping Richard Wandyaka’s pass home as the Jinja side looked to continue their strong start to the season.
And they did for a decent part of the game. But URA never stopped pushing for an equalizer.
The Tax Collectors got their best opportunity in the second half when they won a penalty. But Ibrahim Dada missed it.
But their pressure finally yielded in the two added minutes, Pilsner Man of the Match, Ssenkaaba, pouncing to rescue URA a point.
BUL stayed top of the standings on seven points from three matches despite the draw. URA are 10th on two points from three matches.
