Maroons moved second on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table after their goalless draw with Wakiso Giants at the Prisons Ground in Luzira on Tuesday.
This on the same day league newcomers, Blacks Power, also picked their first point and goal of the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Soltilo Bright Stars in Lira.
At Luzira, hosts Maroons goalkeeper Simon Tamale was the star man as his heroics kept Wakiso Giants off the scoreline.
The former Bright Stars custodian brilliantly denied George Kaddu and Moses Aliro to earn Maroons a point and go second on the log.
Maroons are now on five points, one behind BUL, after three matches, while Wakiso Giants, who have drawn one and lost the other, are 10th on a single point.
In Lira, Faizah Wuwawu scored for Blacks Power on 32 minutes but Muhammad Kyeyone immediately levelled for Bright Stars to earn a point.
Bright Stars are sixth on three points from as many games, while Blacks Power are third from bottom on one point.
