Four Uganda Premier League clubs have advanced to the round of 32 of the 2023/24 Stanbic Uganda with the same number also facing exit so far.

Wakiso Giants, KCCA, SC Villa and NEC are the top division sides whose places in the next round have been confirmed.

The Purple Sharks came from behind to beat host Kyambogo FC 4-1 on Tuesday with Kenneth Kimera netting twice with Samson Kigozi and Marvin Nyanzi scoring the other goals.

Muhammad Shaban brace on Wednesday helped KCCA past Admin at Mbale Municipal Stadium while Villa scored four through Charles Lwanga, Abasi Kyeyune, Elvis Ngonde and Aslam Ssemakula to avoid upset against SC Tawai in Dokolo on Thursday.

NEC beat Northern Division FC 2-1 in Mbale through second half strikes from Brian Kayanja and skipper Marvin Kavuma.

It wasn’t the case with Maroons, Mbarara City, Arua Hill and UPDF who suffered exits at the hands of Busei FC (1-0), Synergy FC (4-2 on penalties), Nsambya FC (3-0) and Pajule (1-0) respectively.
