The StarTimes Uganda Premier League returns this Tuesday with two games on card.

First, champions Vipers visit Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba in the early kick off at 2pm with the visitors seeking to go top.

They come into the game level on points with KCCA on 45 and one behind leaders SC Villa – the two have played one and two matches more than Vipers respectively.

Both sides come into the fixture on the back of wins with Vipers edging KCCA while Busoga United were the victims in the 2-0 loss to Bright Stars.

“We are facing a team that has been getting the results, that has good coaches and a team that works as a group,” Vipers coach Alex Isabirye told the media.

“They have players that work as a unit so I know, it won’t be easy but we are trying to see that we get three points for whichever game we play.

“The players know very well that three points is my only request and l always tell them to go out there and do their best for three points.”

The two sides will also face off in the Stanbic Uganda Cup in the coming days but Asaph Mwebaze, the Stars tactician says focus is now on the league game.

“For now, the focus is on the league game since the Cup games are ones in the future.”

Vipers have never lost to Bright Stars in the past 18 meetings with 10 wins and 8 stalemates.

Elsewhere on the day, Gaddafi host in form Maroons at Kakindu.

The hosts are still searching for the first victory in the second round and face a team on form that beat leaders Villa 1-0 in their last outing.
