A few days after impressing on match day one, Bright Stars and Maroons face off in the only match in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday.

Maroons who make the trip to Kavumba beat Busoga United 5-0 on day one while Bright Stars held champions Vipers to a goalless stalemate at Kitende.

Asaph Mwebaze whose name is synonymous with Maroons having been their coach for over thirteen years says he wants to build on the point at Kitende.

“We shall build on this point as we move into the season,” he said on Friday.

Mwebaze will hope to have forward Nelson Senkatuka who missed the opener at Kitende available but is boosted by the availability of Bob Olouch and Frank Kato who were ineligible to face Vipers last week.

His opposite number Muhammad Senfuma also has Andrew Samson Kigozi available after he missed the first game due to malaria.

Brian Nkuubi is back from national duty with the Sand Cranes and it remains to be seen whether Senfuma will throw him in the mix immediately.

Abraham Tusubira has an ankle injury while skipper David Ndihabwe was carried off in the opener.

The last eight meetings have produced three wins for each and two draws.
