In a bid to strengthen side ahead of the second half of the season, Police have agreed a loan deal for five players with champions KCCA.The deal will see the experienced trio of defenders Martin Mpuuga and Brian Ochwo plus midfielder Hakim Ssenkumba as well as youngsters Paul Willa and Yasin Mugume spent the second half of the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) at the Cops.
Fourth from the base of the log, Police have had an abysmal performance which forced them to sign coach Abdallah Mubiru to replace interim tactician Angelo Lonyesi who has stood in after Sam Timbe left the club.
KCCA coach Mike Mutebi believes the move will benefit the players and confirms they are still part of the Lugogo project.
They are all good players and very much part of the project, we also have faith in the coaching staff at Police to help them get better but the players also in return help Police get to the next level
The second half of the AUPL kicks off in the first week of February, 2017.
