The fight for survival in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League takes centre stage on Saturday with three of the five fixtures on the day involving relegation candidates.
At Kavumba, bottom placed Proline visit resurgent Bright Stars targeting maximum points that could see them move from the bottom for the first time this season.
Both teams come into the game on the back of victories – Bright Stars stunning Police with a 2-1 defeat on Tuesday while Proline rallied to register a 2-1 win over Bul at Lugogo.
At St. Paul Seminary, Fort Portal, Tooro United host Police with both seeking redemption.
Second from bottom Tooro United narrowly lost to Express 2-1 in their last outing to stay second from bottom on 19 points while the Cops haven’t won in three outings staying just one position above with 22 points.
Elsewhere, 9th placed Wakiso Giants will host former Fufa Big League rivals Kyetume at Wakiso.
The two sides won dramatically in the last minutes of their respective games in mid-week – the Giants detaining Maroons 2-1 while Kyetume won 4-3 against Mbarara City.
In other games on the day, Onduparaka host the Ankole Lions while title chasing KCCA host traditional rivals Express at Lugogo.
There will be one game played on Sunday when SC Villa visit Bul at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.
