Suspended SC Villa coach Wasswa Bbosa says his deputy Paul Mukatabala has it all in control.
Bbosa starts serving his four-match touchline ban against Mbarara City on Saturday after the competitions disciplinary committe found him guilty of “attacking referee Deogratius Opio” during Villa’s 2-0 win over Soana.
This development is particularly disturbing for Villa and Vipers, who also had their coach Miguel Da Costa banned for similar offenses, as it comes thick in the title run-in.
The Jogoos top the log on 49 points, Vipers and KCCA three and four points behind respectively.
“They have banned me from the bench, and not the training ground,” said Bbosa, “We train together with my colleague Paul (Mukatabala) and whatever I can do on the bench, he can also do.
“So I trust him and he has the ability and trust of the players.”
The pair are, meanwhile, hopeful Villa’s appeal of the ban could reduce on the number of matches Bbosa will sit out.
