The Latest on UPL transfers – URA and Vipers busiest

Preparations for the forthcoming 2019/20 season are on-going at all clubs but URA and Vipers seem to have taken lead in the transfer window.

The Venoms, former immediate champions have already secured the services of Allan Kayiwa, Paul Willa and Siraje Sentamu from Tooro United, Police and URA respectively.

There are reports they have reached agreements to sign Onduparaka skipper Rashid Toha as well as KF Tirana forward Yunus Sentamu.

For URA, they have captured former Express and Vipers forward John Semazzi, SC Villa captain Ashraf Mandela and Ndejje University striker Anwar Ntege.

Masaza Cup talented duo of Ivan Serubiri and Mikdad Senyonga has also been confirmed Sam Ssimbwa’s side.

They are reports the Tax Collectors have agreed terms with intelligent midfielder Hassan Kalega who is a free agent after his contract with Vipers expired.

The highly rated midfielder spent last season at Police where he featured for the Cops on loan.

Elsewhere, Proline have already snapped up Bernard Muwanga from KCCA on loan, Yusuf Mukisa from SC Villa and Andrew Okiring from Police.

Newly promoted side Wakiso Giants have also confirmed the capture of two signings; Aggrey Madoi who previously featured for Police and Vipers and goalie Derrick Emukule from relegated Ndejje University.

Bul have also strengthened with signing of Geoffrey Akol from rivals Kirinya Jinja SS and reports indicate they also signed goalie Sanon Mulabi from the ‘school team’.
