With just a game to end the season, Police coach Abdallah Mubiru says a top five finish is the target for the club at the moment.
The Cops sit 7th on the 16-team table with 38 points and the best they can manage is to go to 41 points if they beat KCCA in their last game.
“I don’t think we have had a season we targeted,” Mubiru told upl.co.ug. “But given the circumstances at the moment, finishing in the top five would be great,” he added.
“For now, that’s the target and that means we have to win our last game and hope opponents don’t.
Last season, Police survived relegation on the final day of the season but are now five points better than what they managed the entire last campaign.
