Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has included thirteen players from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League in the provisional squad to face Tanzania.
The two nations face off in a double header this month with Uganda hosting the Taifa Stars in Suez Canal, Egypt on March 24 and visit Dar es Salaam four days later.
URA, KCCA and Vipers have three players each with SC Villa having two while both Gaddafi and UPDF have one representative on the team.

Alionzi Nafian, James Begisa and Derrick Ndahiro (URA), Allan Okello, Geoffrey Wasswa, Rogers Mato (KCCA), Siraje Sentamu, Livingstone Mulondo, Rogers Torach (Vipers), Rogers Mugisha (UPDF) and Joel Mutakubwa (Gaddafi) are the UPL stars on the team.
The team will enter camp on Wednesday next week at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi before traveling to Bundibugyo for a regional tour game.
On Sunday, 19th March the selected locally based players will then travel to Egypt where they will be joined by the foreign based legion.
Uganda has just a point from the opening two games in Group G, picked off Niger at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
