Police FC 1-2 Lweza
Lweza FC registered their third league win in four attempts after beating Police FC 2-1 away at Kavumba Recreation Ground on Tuesday.
Osman Mutumba scored for the hosts in the 38th minute but second half goals from Lweza’s January recruits Juma Balinya and Sula Bagala sealed the deal for the side.
Balinya; a former Vipers’ attacker cancelled out Mutumba’s goal two minutes into the second half and Bagala won it with a strike with 25 minutes to go.
Lweza’s win lifts their points tally to 19 but remain 12th on the log while Police maintain 3rd with 26 points and are now six points adrift of log leaders KCCA.
