Tooro United stun Vipers, Bright Stars shine over BUL

Mark Nsubuga scored a late winner as bottom of the log stunned leaders Vipers with a 1-0 defeat in Buhinga.

The goal arrived after a very good solo run by Muhammad Ssenoga in the 79th minute giving hope of survival to Tooro United despite staying at the base have 12 points and just six off safety with ten games remaining.

Vipers stay top with 43 points but their three points lead will be cut to zero if KCCA beat Villa on Saturday.

At Kavumba, fourth placed BUL were also stunned by Soltilo Bright Stars with a 3-0 defeat with the hosts moving out of relegation zone to jump to 12th on the log with 19 points.

Jamil Kasinde, Joseph Janjali and an own goal by Walter Ochora condemned the visitors who remain 4th with 33 points.

In Jinja, Busoga United and Police couldn’t be separated at the final whistle as neither scored on the afternoon.

Police remain 10th on the table with 22 points while Busoga are just behind with one point and position below.
