As the kick off for the 2021/22 season draws closer, clubs continue to strengthen.

13-time champions KCCA are one of the busiest so far and just this week made it eight signings.

The club unveiled midfielder Rogers Mato and goalkeeper Derrick Ochan signed from Proline and Police FC respectively.

In the same breath, they let go of custodian Hassan Matovu who penned a deal at Soltilo Bright Stars.

The Kawempe based side had earlier landed midfielder Fiat Cleophace and Japanese Kazuto Kushida to their ranks.

Issa Bugembe was also handed his first senior contract after being promoted from the Junior side.

At St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende, Brazilian Oliviera Roberto made his maiden signing in U-20 goalkeeper Jack Komakech.

The highly rated youngster signed a five year deal with an option for a further year and takes over number 19 jersey previously won by Bashir Sekagya.

Wakiso Giants also announced their first signing; winger Frank Ssenyondo from Express FC.

The diminutive forward as seen as a direct replacement for Yasin Mugume who left the club after the end of his contract.
