Tom Ikaara

KCCA have beaten Police to the signature of fast rising Kirinya Jinja SS goalkeeper Tom Ikara.

Ikara who is on the fringes of the national team was first contacted by Police but it looks clear he will be joining the Kasasiro before closure of the January window.

According to close sources, the 21 year old custodian turned down the Cops offer for an opportunity to play in the CAF Champions League with the Yellow lads.

He is expected to replace Benjamin Ochan who is reportedly on the move to the Zambia Super League with a club yet to be identified.

At Lugogo, Ikara will compete for a starting slot between the sticks with current first choice Charles Lukwago as well as Jamil Maliyamungu.
