Ssenkaaba

Express continued being busy in the transfer window by unveiling a 17th player in striker George Ssenkaaba.

The former SC Villa forward was unveiled moments after guiding Kitara FC to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League ahead of the 2020/21 season.

“Ssenkaaba possess the qualities we want in a forward, am certain he will have a positive impact for us when the season starts,” Wasswa Bbosa told Express FC website.

Ssenkaaba said:  “I must say I’m delighted to join the red eagles, like all other players this is a dream come true and i can’t wait to get started.”

Elsewhere, URA completed the signing of former Vipers SC midfielder Brian Nkuubi on a three year deal.

“I’ve seen a lot of good players at URA FC and I expect competition for positions. I have enough experience and I feel I can add a lot to the club in the coming season,” Nkuubi told the club website.

He went further to add: “I want to continue playing at a high level and compete with the best on the title and the club seems on the right path to provide that.”

URA finished fourth last season when the league was abruptly ended due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
