- Uganda 0-0 DR Congo
Uganda U-23 (Kobs) played to a goalless stalemate with DR Congo in the first game of the Cecafa U-23 Challenge Cup in Bahir Dar International stadium.
Uganda created some good opportunities in the first half but failed to convert any while DR Congo were the better side after the break as Uganda held on for a point.
“It was a tough game against a very good aggressive side,” said Byekwaso.
“But we played well especially in the first half but were only let down by our forwards not being effective. In the second half, the game was so balanced and I think it was a fair game,” he added.
