The Uganda Premier League (UPL) Secretariat is currently operating from a different location after the government temporarily took over their hitherto offices at Namboole.
Government recently announced it would use the national stadium, which also houses the Secretariat offices, as a makeshift centre to take care of Covid-patients as the country works to contain the pandemic.
“Dear our esteemed clients,” reads in part a statement released by the Secretariat head of communications, Gordon Roy Mundeyi.
“The government of Uganda has designated Mandela National
Stadium as a COVID-19 Institutional Quarantine Centre.
“As a result, the Uganda Premier
League Secretariat has temporarily moved its operations to Lungujja at the FUFA Special Interest Groups offices until such a time when we will return to the old address at Mandela National Stadium.”
