Uganda Cranes Coach Abdallah Mubiru has named more than twenty players from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League ahead of the international friendly against South Africa.

Goalkeepers Charles Lukwago (KCCA) and Simon Tamale (Bright Stars) lead the charge of local based players who include U-20 internationals that reached the finals of youth Afcon recently.

Express new kid on the block Eric Kambale, Mbarara City’s Innocent Wafula and Red Eagles skipper Enoch Walusimbi are some of the new faces on the team.

Others are forwards Derrick Kakooza, Richard Basangwa, Joseph Akwandanaho and Ivan Sserubiri.

The Uganda Cranes will take on Bafana Bafana on June 12 in South Africa.
