URA aim to stretch lead, Villa visit Soltilo Bright Stars

Wednesday March 17, 2021

  • Soltilo Bright Stars Vs SC Villa – Kavumba Recreation Ground
  • Mbarara City Vs BUL FC – Kakyeeka stadium, Mbarara
  • Onduparaka Vs URA – Green Light stadium, Arua

Table leaders URA will be eager to keep their spot at the top with a sizeable gap when they visit Onduparaka in Arua.

The tax collectors are the most in form side at the moment and could win a sixth game on the trot.

Former Paidha Black Angels forward Cromwell Rwothomio and Steven Mukwala will be key if Sam Ssimbwa’s side are to leave Arua with all points.

Currently, they are top with 33 points, one better than second placed Express FC who have played one more game.

If they lose and Vipers beat KCCA, they will drop to second courtesy of an inferior goal difference to the Venoms.

At Kavumba, SC Villa visit Soltilo Bright Stars with both sides coming off slim but important wins.

The Jogoos needed a last gasp winner to down Onduparaka in Bombo on Sunday while Baker Mbowa’s charges won away to Mbarara City 1-0 in Kakyeeka.

Elsewhere, Bul FC visit Mbarara City at Kakyeeka with Livingstone Mbabazi making his return to the dugout for the hosts.
