Four-time champions URA have started the January transfer window on a busy note signing midfielder Joshua Lubwama and letting go of assistant coach Baker Mbowa.
Lubwama joins the tax men on a two year contract from Wakiso Giants where he spent two and half years.
“URA FC is delighted to announce that Joshua Letti Lubwama has signed a contract which will keep him at the club until January 2025,” read a statement on the club website.
Lubwama becomes the first arrival at the Gayaza based club who over the weekend announced the departure of striker Derrick Nsibambi just after three months.
In the same breath, the club has axed assistant coach Baker Mbowa who joined the club in April last year to help out Sam Timbe.
“We wish to announce that URA FC has parted was with assistant coach Baker Mbowa with immediate effect..,” read part of the statement on the club website.
“Mbowa joined the club in April 2022 and has been serving as assistant coach to Sam Timbe.
