URA end KCCA five match winning streak

KCCA’s five match winning run came to an end on Wednesday afternoon after playing to a 1-1 draw with bogey side URA.

Allan Okello scored in the second half to cancel out Ashraf Mandela first goal that put the tax collectors into a deserved lead.

Mandela beat three KCCA players before shooting on goal with a slight deflection aiding the ball to hit the back of the net.

Earlier, the tax collectors could have taken the lead but returning Charles Lukwago denied Cromwell Rothomio.

KCCA had a better second half and equalised through Okello but both teams failed to score a second goal in a game referee Alex Muhabi got injured midway the second half and was replaced by Kalibbala.

A point moves KCCA to 4th on the log with 23 points while URA are 9th with 16 points.
