Vipers SC 0-2 URA
URA put up a commanding performance to beat home side Vipers SC 2-0 at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in Saturday’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) clash.
Joakim Ojera and Cromwell Rwothomio’s goals in either half were enough to subject the Venoms their first defeat of the campaign.
Ojera opened the scoring on 17 minutes before Rwothomio ensured of victory with a quarter of an hour to play.
The Tax Collectors played an authoritative game, with Moses Sseluyidde conducting proceedings with verve to earn himself the Pilsner Man of the Match gong.
URA’s third victory in five matches moves them up to seventh on 10 points.
Vipers first defeat keeps them second on 13 points, six behind leaders KCCA, the only unbeaten side in the division now.
URA have played two matches fewer than KCCA and one than Vipers.
