URA have appointed former Victors and SC Villa midfielder Fred Muhumuza as the new assistant coach.
The Tooro Province Head coach takes over from Baker Mbowa who was sacked by the club after the end of the first round in which the team performed abysmally.
“We would like to announce that Fred Muhumuza has joined our Technical staff as assistant coach on a one year contract…,” read a statement on the URA website.
“He comes in as a replacement of Baker Mbowa and with his experience we believe he will add value to the club.”
Muhumuza is the third assistant under Timbe’s reign after Simeone Masaba and Mbowa who were all forced to leave.
