URA just needed a routine win to end their rather dismal 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) campaign in a fair third place.

But the Tax Collectors instead displayed brute form, pummeling relegated Tooro United 7-0 away at Buhinga Stadium, in Fort Portal, on Saturday.

Cromwell Rwothomio grabbed a hat-trick, with Viane Sekajugo adding a brace and Joackiam Ojera and Kabon Living scoring one each.

The win, URA’s 15th in 30 matches, sees them finish on 55 points, one behind second placed KCCA and a massive 19 adrift of new champions Vipers SC.

Bottom Tooro won only two games to be relegated with just 10 points.
