Ndejje University 1-2 URA

Kirinya-Jinja 1-1 Tooro

Paidha Black Angels 1-1 Bul

URA made it two wins in a row following a 2-1 victory over Ndejje University in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played in Luwero on Tuesday.

Peter Lwasa’ s eighth minute strike and a
Bernard Kateterema own goal with a quarter of an hour to go were enough for the tax collectors to take the day.

Not even a Robert Eseru pull-back for the hosts in added time could halt URA’ s resolve.

This was their second successive victory after the taxman beat SC Villa 1-0 on Saturday.

The victory sees URA move one place up to fourth on the 16-log table with 28 points, 12 behind leaders KCCA.

Ndejje stay second from bottom with just 10 points from 17 matches.

Elsewhere, Tooro surrendered the lead to draw 1-1 at Kirinya-Jinja, with Fred Amaku cancelling out Godfrey Lwesibawa’s goal.

In Arua, Charles Sebutinde scored on second half resumption to deny Paidha Black Angels only their third victory after Jackson Nsubuga had given the hosts a 22nd minute lead.
