Record champions SC Villa lock horns with high flying BUL in a highly anticipated clash at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

Villa played out a 1-1 draw with reigning champions Vipers on Friday to move to 5 points which puts them seven points adrift of BUL who are so far one of the two perfect sides in the division alongside Kitara.

The Jogoos are aware that defeat will widen the gap and literally make title contention tougher.

They will hope forwards Ivan Bogere, Charles Lwanga and Patrick Kakande are prolific on the afternoon against a side that has conceded just one goal.

BUL will rely on Lawrence Tezikya, former Villa forward Alex Kitaata and the experienced Samuel Ssekamatte to break the Villa backline manned by their former player Kenneth Ssemakula.

The last 22 meetings have produced 7 wins for either with the rest ending in stalemates.

The other game on the day will see a Jinja derby between Gaddafi and Busoga United in Jinja.
