SC Villa and Bul put their endless run home wins against Kyetume and Onduparaka respectively.
Muhammad Ssenoga scored for the Jogoos in the 24th minute and they held on till the final whistle.
Relegation threatened Kyetume had an opportunity to salvage a point but former SC Villa and KCCA striker Robert Ssentongo missed a second half penalty which leaves his side languishing in the drop zone.
Villa move to 8th on the table with 36 points, same as Wakiso Giants who are 7th due to a superior goal difference.
At Bugembe, goals from Joseph Ssemujju, Deogratius Ojok and Peter Oketch earned the hosts their first league win in seven games.
Kabon Living scored Onduparaka’s consolation late in the second half.
Bul stay 11th with 30 points while Onduparaka are 12th with two less.
Elsewhere, Henry Kitegenyi scored the winner as Mbarara City won a fourth successive home game against Police who are now winless in seven league games.
The win lifts Mbarara City to 9th with 35 points while Police stay 6th with 39 points.
