Sixteen time champions SC Villa host BUL in a grudge match in Lira with revenge on their mission.
BUL has already beaten the Jogoos twice this season including in the Uganda Cup where they eliminated them in the round of 32 despite a replay.
The second placed Jogoos will miss their key players Travis Mutyaba and Kenneth Ssemakula who are on national duty with the Uganda Cranes but Jackson Magera still has enough players to call on.
BUL have a good record against the Jogoos and haven’t lost to them in all competitions since 2017.
A win for Villa who play their last game at Lira before returning to Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku following a five match ban will take them within a point of log leaders KCCA.
BUL meanwhile will dislodge SC Villa from second position if they complete a double over the Blues.
Elsewhere on the afternoon, Maroons host Arua Hills with the latter aiming to bounce back after defeat at KCCA.
