Villa lock horns with Giants, URA face Arua Hill test

Wednesday March 30, 2022

  • URA vs Arua Hill – Arena of Visions, Ndejje 2pm (TV)
  • Busoga United vs Tooro United – Kakindu stadium, Jinja 4pm
  • Wakiso Giants vs SC Villa – Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso 4pm (TV)

Three matches are on card on Wednesday afternoon with three relegation threatened sides, SC Villa, Busoga United and Tooro United in action.

At Kabaka Kyabaggu, the record league winners visit Wakiso Giants targeting all points to ease their relegation fears.

Currently two points and position above the red zone, the Jogoos can’t afford any more slip up.

They lost the reverse fixture 3-1 and will be wary of the wounded Sharks who lost their last outing 2-1 to Onduparaka.

In Ndejje, second placed URA will be keen on reducing the gap between them and leaders Vipers when they host Arua Hill.

In their first meeting at Barifa, the Tax Collectors threw away a two goal lead to lose 3-2 in a fixture they left fuming and accused the match officials of unfairness.

They are confident coming into the game after seeing off SC Villa in their last outing while Arua Hill could only manage a goalless draw at Tooro United.

A win for the tax collectors will see them reduce the gap to just five points but with two games played more than leaders Vipers.

Elsewhere, Busoga United host bottom of the table Tooro United with both fighting for their lives.
