Shafik Bisaso will not be in charge of SC Villa’s next matches after the club parted ways with the former Proline coach.Bisaso was on Thursday relieved of his duties after just five months in charge of the Villa Park outfit. He oversaw 11 league matches during that time.
“We have parted ways with head coach Bisaso,” confirmed Ben Misagga, the club president, “We thank him for the good time we have had together.
“We wish him all the best. Wasswa Bbosa and Phillip Ssozi will act in the interim.” Reports indicate that Bisaso’s undoing was allegedly “involving himself in club politics.”
Bisaso’s sacking is, however, likely to be met with resistance from a section of the club fans, who carried placards in support of the now sacked coach during their 2-2 draw with Lweza last weekend.
The coach had at the time been given a one match ultimatum after drawing the two earlier games against Bright Stars and JMC Hippos.
Bbosa becomes the third coach to manage Villa this season. Deo Sserwadda started the season before being sacked and replaced by Bisaso.
