Myda FC 1-2 SC Villa

SC Villa kicked off their second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) with victory, seeing off Myda FC 2-1 in Tororo on Thursday.

Mohammad Ssenoga and Derrick Ndahiro scored Villa’s goals while Amos Kirya got Myda’s late consolation.

Villa’s seventh victory of the season moved them two up to fifth on 26 points.

Myda were losing their 11th match in 16 games, which keeps them in the bottom two with just seven points.

The guests went ahead inside seven minutes through Ssenoga before Ndahiro doubled the advantage on the stroke of half time.

Kirya’s 76th minute goal gave Myda hope but Villa held on for all three points. The league continues on Friday.
