Villa seek redemption at Kyetume, Express aim at the top

Tuesday March 2

  • Kyetume FC Vs SC Villa FC , FUFA Technical Centre-Njeru (3:30 pm) live on Sanyuka TV
  • Kitara FC  Vs Express FC  , Kavumba Recreation Ground-Wakiso (4:00pm )

On fire Express visit winless league debutants Kitara at Kavumba aiming at going to the summit of the league table for at least 24 hours.

The Red Eagles are currently the team on fire with three wins in succession scoring 11 goals in the process and letting in just one.

Their last outing was a 3-0 demolition of Wakiso Giants that left them unbeaten alongside current table leaders Vipers SC so far in the league after ten games.

Kitara are coming off a 4-0 humiliation at KCCA and have a task to stop a team scoring freely with Godfrey Lwesibawa, George Senkaaba and Eric Kambale in fine form.

At Fufa Technical Centre , Njeru, SC Villa pay a visit to Kyetume seeking redemption after falling to UPDF in their last league game.

Kyetume are also shambles after a 3-1 defeat in Mbarara and there are reports that Coach Charles Livingston Mbabazi has been sacked and replaced by Alex Isabirye – reports that club is yet to confirm.

The only previous meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-0 win for the Slaughters at Namboole in the league’s opening fixture last season.
