Villa seek redemption, Police, Stars aim at get off the mark

Sixteen time league champions SC Villa host Onduparaka aiming to get back to winning ways after failing to do so in three successive games.

In that run, Petros Koukouras side lost to Wakiso Giants and BUL FC and then drew with champions Express FC.

In Onduparaka, they face a side high on confidence after earning a last gasp win at home against Police last week.

The hosts come will miss Oscar Mawa who was sent off in the last game and he joins Charles Bbale and Isma Mugulusi who are expected to go under surgery any time soon.

Onduparaka welcome back skipper Muhammad Shaban from one match suspension and he will definitely start up front.

The previous ten meetings have produced no draw with Villa winning 6 and losing 4.

SC Villa lie 13th on the table with 4 points from as many games while Ondu are 8th with as many points.

Elsewhere, Police and Soltilo Bright Stars host Mbarara City and Tooro United respectively with the hosts looking for their first wins of the season.

Bottomless Police without any points will miss Yusuf Ssozi and Abdallah Mubiru who were sent off in Arua.

In the other games on the afternoon, UPDF will play hosts to Busoga United, KCCA visit Arua Hill at Barifa while Express take on Wakiso Giants at Wankulukuku.
