Three StarTimes Uganda Premier League clubs have reached the Semi-Final of the 48th Edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Wakiso Giants 1-3 Vipers SC
Current Cup holders Vipers SC saw off Wakiso Giants FC on Sunday 24th April 2022 to book a place in the Semi-Final. The Venoms won 3-1 at Kabakka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso to seal the fate of the Purple Sharks. Bobosi Byaruhanga opened the scoring midway through the first half before a second-half double from Yunus Ssentamu sealed victory for the visiting team. The home side got a consolation goal from Sam Sseyonjo five minutes to the end of the match.

SC Villa 1-2 BUL FC
BUL FC progressed after a 2-1 victory over SC Villa in a match played at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Monday 25th April 2022. The visiting side came from a goal down to emerge victorious after extra time. Saddam Masereka got the home side ahead but Karim Ndugwa got the equalizer before a late goal from Ibrahim Nsimbe after normal time decided the contest.

Mbarara City FC 1-0 Mbale Heroes FC
A late goal from Henry Kitegenyi was vital to see the home side progress to the Semi-Final on Wednesday 27th April 2022 in a match hosted at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
