- Vipers Vs Mbarara City – Kitende

Vipers have an opportunity to go top of the log when they host Mbarara City at St. Mary’s Kitende on Tuesday.
The Venoms, third on the table with 32 points, one behind log leaders SC Villa who alongside KCCA are not in action will go to 35 points with victory.
They go into the game full on confidence after managing four wins in as many games in all competitions in the new year.
Jorge Da Costa feels the issue of goal scoring which hit them in the first round has been solved and now they are good to go.
“It is a pleasure that we now utilise the numerous chances we create,” he said. “Of course we are not near perfection but there is an improvement so far,” added the Portuguese.
“But football is unpredictable, you score today, the next day you fail. So I hope we continue improving in the next games.
Mbarara City will hope to join the legion of URA and Soana who have picked at least a point from Kitende.
Ibrahim Kirya was in charge when the Tax Collectors ended Vipers’ unbeaten home run and will hope he smiles home with victory.
The Ankole Lions, 9th on the log with 21 points lost the reverse fixture 1-0 to Mousa Mbayi goal that was determined by a camera review.
