Vipers SC are the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) champions for the fifth time, and this with four games to go.
The Venoms swept aside deposed champions, Express, 3-0 at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende to move to 64 points, a massive 14 ahead of second-placed KCCA.
Even KCCA’s 2-0 away win at Tooro United mattered less as coach Morley Byekwaso’s men cannot catch Vipers even if they won all their remaining games and the Venoms lost theirs.
Yunus Sentamu was in tbe mood as the Venoms stung the Red Eagles.
The striker grabbed a brace, his goals coming on 24 and 33 minutes before Bright Anukani adding the cherry a minute to the hour.
Sentamu ‘s double moved him to 13 goals, three behind teammate and lead scorer Caesar Manzoki.

Youngster Sadat Anaku’s double on 45 and 73 minutes was enough to further punish relegated Tooro.
In Bombo, URA striker Cromwell Rwothomio took full advantage of Viane Sekajugo’s assist to help the Tax Collectors to all three points on the 1-0 victory over UPDF.
URA’s 13th win in 27 matches has them in third place on 49 points, while the UPDF are ninth on 33.
