- Vipers 1-0 SC Villa {Agg: 1-0}
Brian Nkuubi sent Vipers into their fourth Stanbic Uganda Cup final with a winner against SC Villa in the return leg of the semi-final played at Kitende.
The visitors were the better side and created lots of goal scoring chances but were either denied by poor finishing or Ismail Watenga heroics in goal.
Martin Kizza forced a good save from the Vipers custodian while Mahad Yaya shot wide with the goal at his mercy after miscommunication between Bashir Asiku and Watenga.
It was no different in the second half as Allan Kyambadde was denied by the cross bar, Kizza two efforts saved by Watenga while Halid Lwaliwa made a goal line clearance to deny Yubu Bogere.
Vipers only shot on target hit the back of the net in the 70th minute following a dubious decision by referee Emma Kiweewa to award a free kick on the edge of the area amidst protests from the visiting team players.
The Venoms held on to their third 1-0 win over the Jogoos in a single season to set up a date with KCCA in the finals due on June 9 at Bukedea.
