The two-time league champions have drawn their last game in a stop start season and will be eager to kick start their season with a win over their arch rivals.
Ibrahim Kayiwa, scorer in the corresponding fixture last season as well as Tonny Odur now turn guns against former bosses.
Express, who lost their first game of the season on Tuesday at home to Bul head into the game minus Allan Kyambadde, John Semazzi and Mike Mutyaba who are on loan but Ibrahim Saddam Juma will face his former bosses.
The midfielder scored the winning goal the last time the two sides faced in Buikwe.
Bul Vs KCCA – Kakindu
At Kakindu, KCCA will be eager to maintain their sit at the summit of the log when they visit Bul.
The reigning champions visit a Bul side they haven’t beaten on the last three attempts losing both of their games last season.
Striker Robert Ssentongo is expected to make his debut against a side buoyed by a slim but important win over Express on Tuesday.
Milton Kaliisa and Augustine Nsumba will be tasked with breaking down a KCCA side that has only lost once in five league games.
Regardless of the result between Express and Vipers on Friday, KCCA will reclaim top spot with maximum points from Jinja.
Proline Vs URA – Lugogo
At Lugogo, Proline would love to bounce back after a humiliating 3-0 loss to SC Villa on Tuesday when they host an equally frustrated URA.
The hosts are likely to welcome striker Edirisa ‘Torres’ Lubega who missed the Tuesday game through injury but still, the he is yet to show his predatory instincts that saw him win the FUFA Big League golden boot last season.
For URA who drew 2-2 with Lweza midweek, they will have no excuse if they fail to win against a side yet to pick maximum points in the campaign.
Kefa Kisala’s men are 7th with as many points while Proline are 13th with three points less.
Onduparaka Vs Police – Green Light Stadium
The Cops head to Arua in a poor state and must be wary of the intimidating Betway Green Light stadium.
Sam Timbe’s side lost 3-0 to Kavumba rivals Soana on their last league outing and will be desperate to prove a point against Onduparaka, who haven’t lost at home in more than two seasons.
The Caterpillars return to their fortress following a barren stalemate with Kirinya Jinja SS on Tuesday eager to return to winning ways.
Muhammad Shaban, Ceaser Okhuti and Farouk Kawooya will be the men to look out for the hosts who sit 8th on the 16 team log with six points while the 11th placed Cops with 5 points will rely on Peter Ssenyonjo and Anthony Bongoole among others.

But the Jinja side under the stewardship of Lt. Col Lukyamuzi have a mountain to climb against a side that has now gone three games on the bounce without losing including holding giants SC Villa and URA.
Yasin Mugume and Moses Ndaula may return to the team after missing the 2-all draw against URA while Owen Kasule is expected to unlock the visitors’ backline manned by UPL defender of the Year, Musa Walangalira.
The Saints Vs Kirinya Jinja SSS – Bombo Barracks Grounds

“We can’t afford losing another game,” said Basena. Godfrey Wakaza will be tasked to look for the goals against a youthful Kirinya side under the tutelage of Alex Isabirye.
The Saints are 13th on the table with four points same as 11th placed Kirinya but they have an inferior goal difference.
Soana Vs Bright Stars – Kavumba R. Grounds
Sam Ssimbwa’s Soana also have a chance to go top of the log with a win over Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Ground.
But the hosts must beat the Kawempe based side and also pray that Vipers and KCCA falter against Express and Bul respectively.
The hosts are buoyed by a commanding 3-0 victory over Police while Bright Stars also beat Sadolin Paints 1-0 thanks to Seif Batte late strike.
Patrick Asiku, Kamada Ssebagala and Emmanuel Kalyowa will be vital for the hosts while Baker Lukooya and company will be the key men for the visitors.
