Uganda’s representatives for continental competitions Vipers and KCCA discovered their opponents.

The league champions will take on Sudan’s Al Hilal in the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League while KCCA will have to wait until the first round after getting a bye at the preliminary stage in Caf Confederation Cup.

The Kasasiro will play the winner between Botswana’s Orapa United and Rwanda’s AS Kigali in the first round.

Should the Venoms get past Al Hilal, home to Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Jamal Salim, they will face the winner between Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and Nouadhibou of Mauritania in the first round.

Vipers have never played in the group stages of any continental competitions while KCCA in 2017 reached the Group stages of the Caf Champions League and got to the groups of the Confederation cup the following season.
