Ugandan champions Vipers maintain stay in the Cecafa Kagame Cup after a comfortable 3-0 win over South Sudan’s Kator.
Duncan Seninde, Steven Mukwala and Yayo Lutimba scored for Jorge Miguel Da Costa’s men who finish second in group A behind leaders and holders Azam.
Seninde broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute beating compatriot Fred Mugagga in Kator’s goal at the near post after a short corner from the right before Mukwala finished off a good move initiated by Rahmat Ssenfuka a minute later.
Lutimba put the icing on the cake with a low shot in the 92nd minute to cap a good day for the Uganda Premier League champions.
A date against either Gor Mahia from Kenya, Djibouti’s AS Porto or Rwanda’s Rayon Sport in the quarter finals.
