• SC Villa 1-0 Gaddafi
  • Maroons 1-1 Vipers

Vipers were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Maroons in Luzira fluffing the opportunity to move level on points with table leaders BUL.

Fred Amaku scored in the 33rd minute to hand the hosts a lead but Milton Karisa replied six minutes after the break.

The result means Vipers stay two points behind BUL who lead the table on 26 points while Maroons drop to sixth after two dropped points after Villa’s win over Gaddafi.

The Jogoos failed to convert numerous chances created in the first half at Wankulukuku but Ivan Bogere capitalized on a spilled ball from Ssekandi to tap home a few minutes into the second half.

With 19 points in 5th place, Villa are now seven points behind the leading side.

Action in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League resumes next week with match day 12 with two fixtures the key highlights.

On Friday December 22, Villa will host rivals KCCA while BUL visit Vipers in a top of the table clash under floodlights.
