Vipers SC were in unforgiving mood as they thrashed Proline 4-2 at the StarTimes Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The victory stretched their lead at the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) summit by seven to 42 points.
Vipers closest challengers, the reigning champions KCCA, lost to Bright Stars.

The hosts went ahead through Kiiza’s thunderous eight minute drive but Mwemezi stabbed home the equaliser three minutes later.
Bayo then made it 2-1 after Hassan Matovu had spilled Paul Mucureezi’s effort on 13 minutes.
Mwemezi’s second on 20 minutes was a well struck effort from inside the 18-yard, sending Vipers into half time 3-1 up.
Bayo then out the game beyond doubt when he scored his second from a penalty spot after Ibrahim Sendi brought down Mwemezi on 57 minutes.
Kiwanuka added respectability to the scoreline when he prodded home Proline’s second as the clock ticked down.
